Jack is off to preschool and I'm pretty sure he loves it!  He started a couple weeks ago, 2.5 hours two days a week.  My baby is growing up!

Yep, It's Hannah x two!  These two crack me up and are the best of buddies.

Time

Where does it go?  Sometimes I feel like my babies are growing up without me.  In a blink of an eye they're bigger than the moment before.  I'm determined to soak it all in.  Slow it down.  Eat every moment up.  Even the difficult ones.  They will pass.

Easter morning.  The few snapshots I took before they headed off to gather eggs.  They patiently waited for daddy to get home from work and were ready to go!

My little spidey boy on Sunday before going to see Rio. About ten minutes after the movie started he vomited all over the theater.  Poor little dude :( He's feeling much better today!

52 weeks of my babies

We've been sick here.  Sicker than I can ever remember.  I'll be back with more on that but first.....

I've decided to change things up on my 365 this year.  I am photographing my 365 from my phone, it's easy and always there.  I've also decided to photograph my babies every week and our family every month for the year.  So far I'm on track!  Woo Hoo!  I've already posted 1/52 so here's 2/52.....before Flu 2011!

It's a new year.  Time to clean up.  food, household toxins and clutter are at the top of my list!  I'm feeling good about this....

It's been two weeks since jack turned two!  He woke up to Ava's happy birthday wish early that morning.  We were headed home from San Diego and stopped for a birthday breakfast on the way out.  Pancakes and fruit with whipped cream...yummy!  Not five minutes on the freeway headed out of town and thump, thump, thump....flat tire.  Fortunately, we had just passed Costco, unfortunately, it took four hours to get a new tire.  So we shopped, ate, lost Jacks shoes, and hit the road a little behind schedule.  So after much delay, Jack's two year old stats:

He loves his mommy. Ava is his best sister and Lily is his little mommy.  And of course his bff is Blake.  They play like no other two year olds I've seen.  He doesn't play with to many toys but likes choo choo trains, zhu zhu pets, wii, playing in the kitchen, and anything his sisters are playing with.  He likes buz lightyear, sponge bob, and elmo.  He will watch a little tv but will watch "meemunks" 5 times a day.  He loves being thrown in the air, pushed on the big swing, and tickled on the belly. 

He does not like going to bed.

He is a smart little guy, curious and brave.  He jumps on and off everything, even head first.  He's a problem solver. He will figure out how to climb on the counter, unlock the door, fill the bath and play the dvd.  He says just about everything in full sentences, but my favorite is "I love you too." He sing his abc's and counts to 13 or 14 or maybe it's 14, 14? He calls every color blue.

He's not much of an eater but he loves yogurt, fruit, cookies, candy or anything sweet.  Breakfast is by far his favorite meal.  Cereal, oatmeal, pancakes, french toast, bacon....

He has a temper, throws typical tantrums everyday.  He is stubborn. He pulls on my legs all day long, whining.  He hits and bites and says no.  He holds my face close and says "Look at me." He kisses me on the lips.  He brings me a blanket and says "Mommy, rock the baby." He says "I love you."  Jackie Roo, I love you too!

the second year

His stats to come this week after we see the Dr. but for now his slideshow.  He asks for  "Dackie show" and will watch over and over throughout the day.

Sunkissed and dusted with sand. We are on our way back to reality.  Today my baby boy is TWO! Happy birthday Jackie Roo! I love you! I love you! I love you!

It's hard to believe this crazy boy will be two in only one week!

I made it!  Now you probably won't hear from me for about a month. 

"Mommy, come look in my bed.  There's a jungle gym in here!" 

23 months

In only three weeks my baby boy will be 24 months, two years old! It feels like this was yesterday and this was the week before that.  Even though I miss my little baby and my baby belly I love my big boy even more.  He loves his mama more than anything and I cherish it.  Soon he will no longer hang from my leg and beg for me to hold him.  He is sweet and silly, and loves to be the center of attention.  "Mommy I did it" and "Watch this" are phrases I hear several times a day.  He is brave but cautious and is always on the lookout for new things to explore get into.  He loves to sing and dance and can almost sing the ABC's and count to 10, sometimes.  He says his name is Dackie Densin but still calls himself Bate(Blake his bff) in a video or picture.  At bedtime he asks me to sing the baby boy song, one I made up when he was still in my belly, and he sings along.
