If we only had 104 days like phineas and ferb! These seven weeks are going to fly by and I'm going to enjoy every minute of it. Swim team, gymnastics, movies, ice skating, hockey, big surf, girl scout camp, San Diego, library, playdates, fun Fridays!
Day one: Today the kids got their own library card and started the summer reading program. We stocked the the kitchen with yummy food and watched a movie. We finished the day off at swim team practice. Everyone was sleeping when their head hit the pillow!

tomorrow
I get to teach Lily's class all day! It will be the first time I've taught in nine years! The school participates in Junior Achievement where parents come in to teach the curriculum based on global economy. I can't wait!!!

Today was twin day! Here's Ava and her bff Sarah. Next year our school boundaries change and the girls will be attending a brand new school, Carlson. Sarah will stay at Ryan. They sure are going to miss each other.

This year I was volunteered to lead Ava's Daisy Troop. We had some great times and I'm looking forward to next year. Today was their party at Build A Bear. The perfect ending for a kindergarten troop!

carrot juice
On Mother's Day my babies surprised me with a juicer! I've been researching the health benefits of juicing over the past year so I was excited to get started. Today we juiced carrots. Tomorrow I'm trying all greens.

sweet ride
Check out the eye protection. For a long time riding on the mower with dad would put Jack to sleep. Now he just enjoys the ride.

mama's boy
I'm so lucky to have him. He loves me more than anything and tells me all day long. My favorite was the time he said "I love you like a love song baby". I love you too Jackie Roo, to infinity and beyond!

if only...
She would sleep. it's been a difficult few weeks for my buggy boo. She's an night owl by nature but recently she just can fall asleep. She wakes up tired and feels bad all day. Tired six year old=crabby six year old. I'm going out of my mind! We started an early bed time yesterday and it worked. Here's hoping she sleeps tonight.

polar express
Yep, I'm gonna keep catching up. Unfortunately this app won't let me keep the pics in order so I will have to adjust from my computer later.
Fortunately I use my iPhone camera all the time because we lost Ava's point and shoot on this trip. Everything from Halloween, Disney and this trip GONE! I was heartbroken but so thankful that I had also used my iPhone.
It was a beautiful ride up. The snow was falling and everyone couldn't wait to get there. You know if you've done this trip without snow, it's just not the same. The roads were ice by the time we made it to Flagstaff. The traffic was so slow and I 40 was closed in spots. We almost missed the train. Somehow we made it! I'm not sure how many more train rides we'll make so I'm going to treasure each one!

huntington beach
This year Jack didn't want to leave Disney. The morning we drove away he was sad and said he didn't want to leave our new home. Who could blame him! Then we got to the beach! It's the best part about leaving Disney. We spend a few hours with our feet in the sand, chasing waves and soaking up that sea air. The perfect ending to our Thanksgiving trip.
