I remember it like yesterday;three years ago today we were headed to the hospital to have our first baby. So sure we knew everything, completely naive what to expect. At that moment the anticipation was the greatest feeling I had ever experienced but soon was replaced.
It's difficult to not get wrapped up in daily monotony and easy to forget that they're only babies for a short time. I've spent much of the past three years trying to be the perfect parent when I don't know what perfect is. This on the job training is difficult.
Now my baby is a little girl. She's so bright it's easy to forget tantrums are still acceptable at this age. I find myself looking for perfection instead of enjoying her childhood. My advice to myself, just be....
