the third year

oh boy was it rough...on me. a two year old, a new baby, a new house and a husband busy changing careers. after the third year i always wondered why on earth so many people have their babies two year apart! lily was a challenge at two...looking back it's more likely that i had unrealistic expectations. she was an animated, fun, loving and smart little girl. looking back this is when my little baby turned into a little girl.

buckle up dora, so we can be safe

"she has a noes, and knees"
learning spanish she loves this image
yes, i take this with each kid, i love how chubby her face is here
getting down and dirty
she loves her sis
the layer stage, she would change 50 times a day...it drove me nuts
nursing baby
meow
changing baby, no kidding she has always been a little mommy
look at all of these socks
she loved puzzles and could put them together on her own
my princess
that face is soooo familiar
she always has to pose with something...toy, sister, flower
i loved this day...she was pushing her sis giving her the loudest belly laugh
she fell asleep at dinner
her best friend
playing with daddy
" i want to shave like daddy"
she really will sleep anywhere
you would find her sleeping in random places in the afternoon
she is an independent child
sleeps just like her daddy
i'm not sure why i bought her clothes at this point
posing with another toy
definitely the year of the tea party
{kiss} she was such a challenge to photograph...no eye contact
one of my favorite images ever!
she would carry this catalog around looking at all of the birthday themes picking one out for each of us
she still has that same laugh
her first camera "click take a pic' it's a dora table
every night we would take a wagon ride with popsicles
she never sucked her thumb, not sure why she is here
love her messy buns
finally a real camera
my baby's growing up
