My baby girl is seven! She has been counting down her birthday for months and tonight said she can't believe how quick it was over. My sweet, anxious, mothering, temperamental, driven and serious girl. I love you!

At seven Ava:
1. Wants to be a teacher when she grows up.
2. Doesn't want to grow up, get married or have children.
3. Loves the color purple.
4. Is very selective with her friends but has many best friends including Mia, Sarah, Lily W, Lily A, Ava M and Kendall.
5. Likes to watch ANT Farm.
6. Loves gymnastics and is getting really good at it.
7. Loves to shop for clothes, jewelry and accessories.

We lost our sweet baby chicken Candice today. She was one of ours first chicks. She wasn't only a provider of eggs but a part of our family. I'm will sure miss that sweet cluck around here.

Lily is NINE!!! Not sure how we got here so fast but I love it! She's turning into such a wonderful young lady. Mature, smart and beautiful! Still hard to believe my first baby is NINE!

Some more totally random pics from our vacation. We love spending time at the beach and do our best to avoid sunburns. Scott and I ended up with the only skin burns. My bottom lip burned and swelled like I just had a collagen ejection. And poor Lily's eyes burned from being out in the water all day. They were so red and swollen and she had a hard time focusing. We kept her out of the water the following day. We had our family photos and the poor girl could hardly look at the camera. We got her some uv goggles for our last day at the beach because you just can keep a mermaid out of water!
