packing it up

yes it's that time of year again, when the holiday decorations go back in their boxes and suddenly the walls look bare. this year i wasn't feeling well so not too much clean up. before the tree came down i snapped a few images of some of the ornaments on our tree that are special to me.

the girls on christmas morning...by far their favorite gift

and this was after an initial clean up... i'm not ashamed :) i think they had a pretty good christmas

christmas eve at grandma sandy's... lily got a make up kit...auntie miranda didn't have a girl so poor cole gets to play dress up

december post

mid december and no post...well here's making up for that...

lily had her preschool christmas program yesterday. front and center, her and her best friend kylee were the loudest of the bunch. of course not shy at all she belted out every word to each song...

here's lily and her new boyfriend raymond after the program...she thinks he's handsome...

monday we headed up north to surprise the girls, yep they took a ride on the polar express! lily thought it was the best surprise ever and ava was thrilled to be on a train. i was just happy i didn't puke on the train! it was a great experience.

oh, did i mention it snowed our entire trip. the kids loved it! on the way home tuesday we stopped for a little fun!

Cure

I have wanted to participate in the Race for the Cure for the past several years but this year I'll finally be in town. As you may know my mom was diagnosed and treated for breast cancer this past year. So what a better time to give my support. October 14th I will be racing for her. If you wish to donate for the cure you can here:

Thanks for your support!

playing catch up

i'm finding it difficult to keep up with everything. this is thing one i tend to neglect (as well as returning your emails). business is good, i'm keeping busy. i'm taking most of september off to prepare for the holiday season and catch up around the house. i'm starting a class on tuesday, and am excited about that. lily began her last year of preschool two weeks ago. can you believe kindergarten is only one year away! she had her 4th birthday, now ava thinks she's 4 too.

first camp

well we did it... we took the girls on their first trip to the rim. They absolutely loved it! We borrowed a trailer from the Baugh family (bath access is a bath while camping with kids!) and returned it with minimal damage :) Here's a few...I'll post more later...

my mom was diagnosed with ductal carcinoma last month. she had a lumpectomy and began radiation this week. last friday i decided to document her surgery for the mamosite. fortunately her prognosis is outstanding.
