Ok here it is, my first portfolio building session. Yikes!!! I think it went pretty well. Thanks for letting me use your two little sweethearts Amanda. I hope you're happy with them. Here's a sneak peek.

Kate Madelyn

Just one of little Kate from yesterday...

Fresh...

Here is the newest member of the Taylor family. Taken at just an hour old. Happy birthday little one. And congratulations Tim and April. She is just beautiful.

Check this out....

How fun is this.... I found this on Chris's blog.

All dressed up....

....for Halloween. Aren't they soooo cute!!!

Lily is the good witch.

And little Ava is the not so happy ladybug.

an oldie....

Here's an old one from when I first got my camera in May. She thinks she's soooo funny!!!

a future in art?

She says she wants to be a doctor when she grows up. I think she's a pretty good dancer and she is always singing, so maybe a performer. But when daddy left her alone with the crayons she revealed her new talent, mural art.

Yes those are my walls!!!

Photoshop facelift

I can't believe I'm posting this.... Ok not that the original is that bad, but man have I aged over the past few years. And 32, that was a rough year: two year old, no sleep, new baby, no sleep, postpartum depression, no sleep, Scott's career change, no sleep, little exercise, no sleep, and I'm just getting old.

This was taken last weekend on my 33rd birthday. I'm learning Photoshop so I thought I would mess around and see if I could make myself look a little younger! Did it work?

Edit: sized and sharpened for web, adjusted brightness and contrast, added a warm filter, spot healing brush to remove blemishes and even skin tone, removed stray eyebrows (I need a wax), added blur layer and a low opacity to soften skin appearance, erased blur from eyes and teeth, used blur tool at low opacity to soften and remove wrinkles, whitened teeth, colored hair (need a hair cut/color) still need on work on this technique. I think that was everything.

Original: sized and sharpened for web.

It's amazing what you can to with a digital darkroom!

The incredible shrinking...

Chrissy... Can you believe she's over 40 lbs lighter than she was in July. Remember this. Keep it up Chris, you look amazing!!!

Another birthday....

Yes December, oh I mean September is a busy month!!! Ashley had her 14th birthday party today. Here are a few of her and her cute friends

.

My fav...

I took Ava out for her one year old shoot today, with her sister. Why it is that Lily only wants me to take her picture when I'm taking someone other then hers? Anyway, Ava was on the go but I got a few good ones. Only proofed one but I think it's my favorite.

Lily.. Isabella.. Dancearella

Lily had her first dance class last week. She's taking a tap/ballet combo class. She absolutely loved it! I knew she would. She's always shaking her booty. Anyway, she did well and wanted to go back the following morning. Hopefully I can get a few better photos next week.

He's 42....

...in dog years.

Happy Birthday Sammy!!!

9.10.2005

Sometimes I wish I could freeze time...embrace and cherish that exact moment forever...seeing, touching, hearing, and smelling her for the first time...feeling my heart sink to the bottom of my belly...overwhelmed with intense emotions...and never wanting to let it go...

anticipation

Here are a few of April with one month to go. My first maternity shoot.

Does anyone know...

...of a good cosmetic dentist? I chipped my two front teeth as a child, but the last time they were bonded I was 13 (yes for all of you doing the math that was almots 20 years ago). Yesterday Scott noticed my right tooth was chipped again. I guess it's time for some new front teeth.
